Saba signs its accession to ”la Caixa” Foundation’s Incorpora Programme
  • The company consolidates one of the lines of action of its CSR policy in regard to charitable activities and links with the different territories where it operates

Saba has become part of the network of companies participating in ”la Caixa” Foundation’s Incorpora project, a job placement programme that aims to facilitate finding jobs for people at risk of social exclusion. Marc Simón, Chief of the Social Department of the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation, Ignacio Carlos Parody, Chairman of the Private Foundation Trinijove, and Josep Martínez Vila, CEO of Saba, have signed the agreement formalising this partnership.

The Incorpora programme offers people at risk of social exclusion (young people with difficulties in finding their first job, the long-term unemployed, women who are victims of domestic violence and people with disabilities, among other groups) the possibility of entering a job placement service. It is a network of job placement experts, composed of professionals of entities that oversee the placement processes and offer a mediation and support service tailored to the needs of each company. As an example, in 2015, the Incorpora programme helped provide 23,626 jobs to vulnerable people, 5,221 more than in the previous year.

Saba’s state-wide participation in this initiative connects with the company's commitment in promoting policies and plans for job integration thereby consolidating one of its lines of action of its CSR policy in regard to charitable activities and linking the different territories where the company operates.
